Following the success of Cibaria Manly, renowned Chef Alessandro Pavoni and the Maestro Hospitality Team are bringing their celebrated Italian dining experience to Noosa – and we’re building our founding team!

 

Set within the Sofitel Noosa Pacific Resort on iconic Hastings Street, Cibaria Noosa marks the next chapter in Pavoni’s culinary journey – and his first venue outside of Sydney.

 

Cibaria Noosa is an elevated yet approachable expression of contemporary Italian dining, that embraces the European way of socialising, all day every day.

 

From morning espresso and long coastal lunches to golden hour aperitivo and relaxed dinners with friends, every moment at Cibaria Noosa celebrates the warmth, flavour, and heartfelt hospitality of Italy.

Job Description

We’re assembling a passionate, powerhouse team to bring Cibaria, Noosa to life from the ground up, and we’re looking for chefs of all levels to be part of the opening crew.

 

Whether you’re a rising kitchen star or a seasoned sous chef, this is your chance to shape something special alongside our senior leadership team. From prep to plating, your skills and personality will help define the soul of our Italian-inspired experience.

Qualifications

Essential Requirements:

 

-Full Australian working rights
-Fluent English communication
-1–3 years’ experience in a similar role or relevant hospitality studies
-Composure under pressure and a positive attitude
-Strong attention to detail and professional grooming
-Passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences
-Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays

 

Preferred Skills & Experience:

 

-Formal hospitality qualifications
-Food Safety Supervisor certification
-Skills in fresh pasta, pastry, woodfire cooking, and butchery
-Proficiency in Italian cuisine
-Experience with venue openings
