Health and Safety


Sofitel Noosa Pacific Resort will be operating in accordance with the Queensland Public Health and their guidelines. Currently, these guidelines provide that all guests, regardless of vaccination status are welcome to stay with us for accommodation purposes and are welcome to dine at our hospitality venues, regardless of vaccination status.

 

At Sofitel Noosa Pacific Resort, your health and safety is our top priority. We are introducing elevated hygiene & prevention measures to ensure this. Our new protocols have been developed with and vetted by Bureau Veritas, providing assurance that our new cleanliness & prevention standards have met local Queensland government health regulations. From the 14th April 2022, guests are no longer required to check in or show their vaccination status at our hospitality venues. Should anything change, we will act in accordance with the Queensland government.

 

Cleaning & Sanitation

 

Our reinforced cleaning program means that disinfection of public areas will be more frequent, with a focus on high touch areas such as the front desk, elevators, door handles and bathrooms. Our cleaning products meet Australian Department of Health standards, and our staff are trained to effectively carry our out scheduled, regular sanitisation.

Welcoming, safeguarding and taking care of others is at the heart of what we do and who we are. The health, safety and well-being of our guests, ambassadors and partners remain our top priority as the world goes through this unprecedented crisis.

 

We have increased our cleaning standards even further by launching the ALLSAFE. Cleanliness & Prevention program which represents some of the most stringent cleaning standards & operational protocols in the world of hospitality. The requirements of ALLSAFE involves an audit of Sofitel Noosa Pacific, where out hotel has successfully completed the on site audit. Restaurants & In-Room Dining

 

Our food and beverage teams have reinforced safety across restaurants, room service and bar protocols. New precautionary measures across every aspect of food preparation, plating and service are taken very seriously. This includes staff hygiene through the use of sanitiser, masks and gloves, frequent disinfection of all surfaces, and a carefully devised socially distanced floor plan for limited bookings. It is our pleasure to provide safe room service at no additional delivery cost.

 

Breakfast Bookings– We currently offer a delicious buffet breakfast from 6.30am to 10.30am in Noosa Beach House Restaurant or In-room dining option. Bookings are encouraged. Our Guest Experience team are able to place a reservation, alternatively you can make a booking online here.

 

Noosa Beach House Restaurant – Our guest experience team are able to place a reservation for you, alternatively you can make a booking online here. The Noosa Beach House Restaurant is open 5:30pm – 10pm, Wednesday – Sunday.

 

In Room Dining – Our team are committed to the highest level of sanitisation and ensuring your meal is delivered in the safest possible way. Contactless delivery will be available upon request. In Room Dining is offered between the hours of 6:30am and 11:00pm.

 

Health Checks

 

Our team are following strict pre-arrival screening procedures and advising guests to please stay home if they are feeling unwell. Sofitel Noosa guests will be provided with access to medical professionals, tele-medical support and a guest hotline for your peace of mind before, during, and after your stay. We focus on comprehensive staff health checks, with meticulous employee safety and hygiene training.

 

Hand Hygiene, Masks & Gloves

 

Australians are taking the necessary steps to keeping our country safe and we are too. Frequent hand washing should be second nature to all who visit the hotel. Guests and staff are also provided with masks upon request. Additional hand sanitiser is also distributed throughout the hotel, supplied in key public areas such as the front desk and restaurants.

 

Social Distancing

 

Social distancing is encouraged when walking throughout our resort. Our restaurants are taking bookings that comply with government regulations and practice social distancing through specially engineered floor plans, limited bookings, and set seatings. Our lobby and elevators are also limited in capacity, determined by square footage.

 

Guest Rooms

 

Cleaning – We take our room hygiene very seriously. We have strengthened room cleaning protocols to include frequent disinfection of all high touch areas, and provide additional cleaning products for guests upon request. Our cleaning standards have been devised with Bureau Veritas and comply with Queensland government safety regulations.

 

Servicing – For your safety and to minimise contact we do recommend servicing every second day, however daily servicing will still be available upon request. As always, you may opt for your room to remain unserviced for the duration of your stay. Additional amenities can be delivered on request, 24 hours a day.

 

Mini Bar – To minimise contact, minibars items have been removed. Should you wish to have an item available from the Noosa Wine Cellar in your minibar fridge prior to your arrival, our Guest Services team are happy to assist. Items will be charged at the time of ordering.

 

Amenities and Services

 

The Pool is open, in accordance with Queensland government guidelines, the capacity and private deck chairs are spaced to adhere to social distancing and will follow an enhanced cleaning program of the area, including high touch points.

 

Aqua Day Spa is open Monday – Sunday. Treatments must be pre-booked with a pre arrival form filled in. To book in advance of your stay please click here

 

The Resort Gym will be open 6.30am until 10pm daily, keys and towels available for collection at reception. Equipment or machines have been limited for social distancing purposes and we ask that all equipment be sanitised after each use with the wipes provided. Please place used towels in the towel bin provided.

 

Valet Parking & Porter Services – Our team are committed to the highest level of cleanliness and will ensure they are sanitising before entering your vehicle, your room and handling your luggage.
